This notice covers this pre-launch page only, not the COU app.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- Your email address, and a record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to and when.
- Your answers to the optional questions, if you give any.
- How you found us: the ad or link you came from (UTM tags and the referring page) and your approximate country, which our host Cloudflare detects from your connection. We do not store your IP address.
This page sets no cookies and uses no ad-tracking pixels. It keeps the ad tag you arrived with in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so the sign-up can be credited to the right ad.
Why, and on what basis
- To email you about the COU launch and the free-month offer, and to give the free month to the first 1,000. Basis: your consent.
- To understand what people want from COU and which ads work. We look at this in aggregate. Basis: our legitimate interest in planning the product, and your consent for the optional answers.
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Who processes it
Your data is stored with Cloudflare (database region: Eastern Europe). When we send launch emails we will use an email delivery provider, which receives your address only to deliver them. Both act on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and no later than 12 months after COU launches. If COU does not launch, we delete the list.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time (the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us), and you can ask for a copy of your data or for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. If you are in the UK or EU, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The list is for people aged 18 and over.
