Founding User Terms
These terms cover joining the COU founding-user list and the free first month. They're short on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
1. Who we are
COU ("Care of U", "we", "us") is a skincare guidance app in development, run by [LEGAL NAME / COMPANY, ADDRESS].
2. Joining the list
- Joining is free. No purchase is necessary, now or later.
- You must be 18 or older.
- One sign-up per person. Signing up again with the same email doesn't add a second place. We may remove sign-ups that look automated or that use addresses which are not real.
- By ticking the box you agree that we may store your email address and email you about the COU launch and the free-month offer. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email we send, or by writing to us.
3. The free first month
- Offer: the first 1,000 people on the list get their first month of COU Premium free. There's no draw: places go by the time you joined.
- Who gets it: at launch we take everyone on the list who has not unsubscribed and is 18 or older, in the order they joined, and the first 1,000 get the free month. If someone ahead of you unsubscribes, you move up. Signing up again with the same email keeps your original place. The free month can be used in any country where COU is available. We plan to launch in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
- How to claim: at launch we email the address you signed up with and explain how to claim the free month. Unclaimed free months expire 60 days after that email is sent.
- No surprise charges: the free month does not turn into a paid subscription unless you choose to subscribe.
- One free month per person. It can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- If COU does not launch, there is no free month. We'll tell you and delete the list.
4. The optional questions
After you sign up we ask a few optional questions. Answering is not required to join or to win. We use the answers to decide what to build first.
5. Not medical advice
COU provides cosmetic skincare guidance. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for a dermatologist or doctor.
6. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll update the version date above and email the list before the change takes effect.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without limiting any rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
